Our Mission

HealthProject.com.au is a free, non-commercial public resource created to make healthcare access easier for Australians on the move. Whether you're travelling for work, holidays, or family reasons, finding a local GP should be simple and reliable.

We aim to bridge common gaps by providing up-to-date practice information and encouraging continuity of care — so patients can stay connected with their regular doctor even when away from home.

What We Will Offer

A searchable directory of GP practices across Australia, using data from the National Health Services Directory (pending formal approval from Healthdirect Australia).
Easy filtering by suburb/postcode, state, services, and bulk-billing status.
Practice micro-pages with address, map, phone, and key services.
Tools and tips to help patients maintain continuity of care (e.g., sharing visit notes with your regular GP).
Future optional features: practice claiming for updates, moderated patient feedback, and more — all with full compliance and transparency.

Our Commitment

We are committed to seeking formal approvals from relevant authorities (NHSD/Healthdirect and AHPRA where required) to ensure the highest standards of accuracy and ethics.
